President Thaçi opened "HardhFest”, says that Rahovec of is Kosovo’s Tuscany

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has opened today in Rahovec the vintage festival “HardhFest”.

President Thaçi praised this organization, which, this year, is the fifteenth in a row, saying that it has made the carnival city of grapes, Rahovec, a cultural center

“Rahovec is the Tuscany of Kosovo”, said President Thaçi.

He added that with the growth of subventions, each time more and more, the production of grapes has increased are the areas planted with vines have grown.

“Today viticulture and wine production is a model sector for Kosovo, since not only it meets the domestic needs, but it also successfully exports products “Made in Kosovo” throughout the world”, said President Thaçi.

This year at “HardhFest”, about 30 local companies of all communities, dealing with the production of grapes and wine, have exposed their products.
This year’s wine and grape festival is organized under the auspices of the municipality of Rahovec and the Ministry of Agriculture, and will be open until September 4.
