President Thaçi met in New York with Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev

New York, 22 September 2017 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, met today with Bulgaria's President, Rumen Radev.

The head of state thanked his counterpart for Bulgaria's help to Kosovo's state-building, strengthening of democracy, as well as for its Euro-Atlantic journey.

He said Kosovo remains committed to its main goal with regards to its foreign policy, which is full membership in the EU and NATO.

"I invited President Radev to arrange in the near future a joint economic forum that would help increase the trade volume between the two countries", said, among others, President Thaçi during his meeting with Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev.

President Thaçi has also invited his Bulgarian counterpart to visit Kosovo.
