President Thaçi meets with President Pahor, thanked him for organizing the Brdo-Brione Summit

Ljubljana, June 02 - The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has met with the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, in Ljubljana and have once again confirmed the good relations between the two countries

President Thaçi has travelled to Slovenia to attend the Brdo-Brione Summit of the Balkan countries to be held on June 3rd in Brdo.

At the meeting with President Pahor, President Thaçi expressed his gratitude for President Pahor and President Grabar-Kitarović, as co-organizers of the Brdo-Brione Summit, for bringing together the heads of the Balkan states at an important moment for the region.

“The Summit comes at the time when in the Balkan countries we see clearer articulation of the Euro-Atlantic aspiration and readiness to move with concrete steps towards the EU”, said President Thaçi.

This year, special guest of the Brdo-Brione Summit is the President of the German Federation, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
