Prishtina, March 26, 2018 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received this afternoon, in a joint meeting, the US Ambassador, Greg Delawie, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Ruairi O'Connell, the German Ambassador, Christian Heldt, the French Ambassador, Didier Chabert, the Ambassador of Italy, Piero Cristoforo Sardi, the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Natalya Apostolova, and the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Jan Braathu, with whom he talked about the recent developments in Kosovo.
Speaking about the dialogue process with Serbia, President Thaçi has said that Kosovo remains committed to fulfill all its obligations, including also the obligation on the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities.
“Kosovo pledges and will be responsible in the functionalizing of the Working Group, which will commence working on the drafting of the Association Statute”, stated President Thaçi.
“The Association will be in accordance with the Constitution, the Laws of Kosovo and the resolution of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo”, he added.
The international Ambassadors stressed that they will provide full institutional support and professional expertise in fulfilling this obligation that Kosovo has received in Brussels.
