Prishtina, May 30th, 2016 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi met today with the manager of Kosovo national football team, Albert Bunjaki.
Just a few days ahead of the friendly match between Kosovo and the Faroe Islands, President Thaçi and manager Bunjaki said that after Kosovo’s membership in UEFA and FIFA, we must all intensify our work in advancing the infrastructure and uplifting the quality of domestic football.
“I congratulate you on the work done so far. Now a joint effort lies ahead of us in the fulfillment of relevant criteria put forth by the UEFA and FIFA”, President Thaçi said, wishing the Kosovo national team every success in the friendly match versus Faroe Islands.
Meanwhile, the manager of Kosovo national football team, Albert Bunjaki thanked President Thaçi for his continued interest in football and Kosovo’s national team in particular.
