Prishtina, March 8, 2017 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, hosted today in a meeting the Head of the “Konrad Adenauer” Foundation, office for Kosovo and Macedonia, Johannes Rey.
The head of state thanked Mr. Rey for his engagement in Kosovo and the region, particularly through civic education programs, including scholarships and cultural activities.
“Kosovo has marked progress in recent years. Further consolidation of state and political institutions is crucial for the further development of the country, ” stated president Thaçi during the meeting.
In turn, the Head of the “Konrad Adenauer” Foundation office for Kosovo and Macedonia, Johannes Rey said that this foundation supports cooperation with the political parties in the region and the development of their capacities.
President Thaçi stressed that the political education of the new generations of politicians is important for Kosovo.
