Prishtina, January 27, 2017 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, decorated today Academic Idriz Ajeti with the Presidential Medal of Merits.
This medal, President Thaçi has awarded to Academic Idriz Ajeti on the 100th birth anniversary for the outstanding contribution in the field of education, science and culture.
“You, who this year is reaching a century of life, for me you are the Çabej of Kosovo in the field of albanological studies”, said President Thaçi.
“Thank you for honoring me”, said Academic Idriz Ajeti.
With his activities, Academic Idriz Ajeti has contributed greatly in strengthening our cultural identity.
