The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received in the first meeting the President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, after his re-election.
President Thaçi expressed the best wishes for the re-election of President Veseli as Head of the Assembly for another mandate.
He stressed that the completing of Kosovo’s key institutions, following the outcome of the latest parliamentary elections, is a democratic achievement.
It was a common opinion that great work and challenges are awaiting Kosovo to advance the agenda of economic development and integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions.
President Thaçi guaranteed the cooperation and coordination of nationally important agendas between the Presidency, the Assembly, the Government and the opposition parties.
The President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, stressed the determination to work towards the deepening of democratic reforms, the advancing of the legislation in accordance with Kosovo’s interests and the deepening of the co-operation of parliamentary entities.
