Prishtina, March 26, 2018 – The President of the country, Hashim Thaçi, received today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Karin Kneissl.
President Thaçi has said that Kosovo is grateful for Austria’s support and has called for deepening of cooperation.
Speaking about the developments in Kosovo and the region, President Thaçi said that “2018 is the year of opportunities for the European future of Kosovo and the entire Western Balkans”.
The President has added that Kosovo is also ready for the final phase of the dialogue with Serbia.
Whereas, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Karin Kneissl, has said that Kosova has a clear Euro-Atlantic perspective.
President Thaçi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria have also spoken about the joint fight against terrorism and extremism.
