Republic of Kosovo’s President Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu received today the Czech Republic Ambassador in Pristina, Ms. Janina Hrebickova, whom he thanked for the support that the Czech Republic, as a current Chair of the European Union, has provided to the institutions of our country during these months of Czech Republic’s mandate as an EU Chair.
President Sejdiu said that the Republic of Kosovo is resolved to fulfil the democratic standards for a faster integration into the European Union and other North-Atlantic structures and that he expects Czech Republic’s full support in the future as well.
On the other hand, the Ambassador Hrebickova affirmed that the Czech Republic is a strong supporter of Western Balkan’s integration into the EU.
“In the course of its mandate as an EU chair, in cooperation with its partners, the Czech Republic has strived to boost the cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions”, Ms. Hrebickova said, expressing her belief that the EU will keep on following the same course.
