The President of the Republic of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli has received first congratulations on his new assignment.
Soon as the Assembly of Kosovo voted in favour of Mr. Behgjet Pacolli for the President of the Republic of Kosovo, he received first calls of congratulation from counterparts and other distinguished international personalities.
The first to call President Pacolli was the Albania’s number one, Mr. Bamir Topi. During the warm and brotherly phone conversation, Mr. Topi wished his Kosovar counterpart success in performing the new important duty and assured him of Albania’s continued and unwavering support for Kosovo. Both presidents discussed potential meetings in the future.
In his Office, President Behgjet Pacolli received best congratulations on his new assignment from the Head of the International Civilian Office in Kosovo, Mr. Peter Feith.
Thereafter, President Pacolli received consecutive congratulations from the former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić, the former President of Albania Rexhep Meidani and many other public figures from the country and beyond.
