President Pacolli goes to pay his respects to the Musliu family in Uglar village in Gjilan

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Behgjet Pacolli visited today the Musliu family in the village of Uglar in the municipality of Gjilan/Gnjilane, whose son, Leutrim Musliu, was killed on Saturday while returning from the mountain with his father.

During the visit to Rrahim Musliu’s family, Leutrim’s father, President Pacolli called on judicial bodies to shed light on the case as soon as possible. “We want to express our condolences. We are here to share the pain with you, and we urge respective bodies to apprehend the killer and to bring him to justice as soon as possible”, President Behgjet Pacolli said.

“We will resolve the case and bring the culprit to justice as soon as possible. I trust our bodies will manage to do that. We share an excruciating pain with the family. It is a loss and a case that should have belonged to the past, not to the present. At present, Kosovo is dealing with other sensitive issues, but I trust our judicial bodies will resolve the case duly”, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli said.

Speaking on behalf of the family, the village’s Imam Burhan Zejnullahu thanked President Pacolli for the visit and for standing by the Musliu family in moments of grief.

“On behalf of the family, I want to express my sincerest thanks to you for having found the time to visit us and to share the pain for the loss of an Albanian son with us”, he said.

Following the visit in Uglar, President Pacolli visited the municipality of Partes, where he was received by Mayor Nenad Cvetkovic, with whom he had a lengthy discussion on the overall situation in the municipality.
