The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received today, in a farewell meeting, the Ambassador of Switzerland in our country, Lucas Berlinger.
Ambassador Berlinger stressed that he has good memories from the time of his stay in Kosovo. He noted that Switzerland has a special relationship with the Republic of Kosovo.
Mr. Berlinger also reminded that Switzerland has multiple commitments in Kosovo, like within the KFOR, ICO, EULEX and other projects in support of the people and state of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga thanked Ambassador Berlinger for the cooperation and the great contribution that he has given during his stay in Kosovo.
She stressed that Kosovo and Switzerland have a very good cooperation between them, and this cooperation will be intensified even further in the future.
Madam Jahjaga also said that the Albanian community in Switzerland will further continue to be a bridge between our two countries.
