The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today the Ambassador of Germany, Hans Dieter Steinbach, in a farewell meeting.
President Jahjaga thanked Ambassador Steinbach for his work and commitment during the time of his service in Kosovo. She appreciated the help and support that Germany has provided and continues to give to Kosovo in the democratic and integration processes.
President Jahjaga said that Kosovo’s friendship with Germany is firm and steady and said they would further promote cooperation in all fields.
The Ambassador of Germany, Hans Dieter Steinbach said that during his service in Kosovo he has passed an extraordinary and challenging time. He highly appreciated the hospitality of the people of Kosovo and its institutions.
Ambassador Steinbach said that his country strongly supports Kosovo and is interested to strengthen relations in all fields. He praised the road that Kosovo has passed and its achievements and said that this is a good sign for the future of the country.
