The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, expressed her condolences to the Albanian royal family after the passing away of His Highness, the King of the Albanians Leka I Zogu
In the telegram of condolence it is said:
Honorable Albanian royal family,
With profound sorrow we received the news of the passing away of your beloved one, the King of the Albanians, His Highness Leka I Zogu.
On my personal behalf, on behalf of the institutions and on behalf of all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I express my sincere condolences.
In this case, we highly appreciate the contribution of the royal family in building the Albanian country and democracy and the work, always to the benefit of the Nation. The citizens of Kosovo preserve the memory for the King of the Albanians H.H. Leka I Zogu, who always and in every event was with Kosovo.
