The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madame Atifete Jahjaga met with Ambassador Frank Wisner.
President Jahjaga informed the American diplomat about the general developments in Kosovo and the progress achieved four years after the declaration of the independence as well as on the recent agreements reached in Brussels. President Jahjaga stressed that the agreements will enable Kosovo representation in regional levels, in various initiatives and mechanisms, and especially in security mechanisms that should to transform the Balkan region into a safe part of Europe.
The American Ambassador, Frank Wisner, praised the achievements in Kosovo and stressed that with the establishment of political stability, Kosovo now needs economic and social development. He also pointed out that the agreements reached in Brussels are a positive step and show the commitment and constructiveness of Kosovo to construct good cooperative relations with its neighbors.
