Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Lubomír Zaorálek, has sent a letter of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, in which he wrote that he looks forward to the continued cooperation, wishing him every success in his upcoming duties.

Allow me to extend to you my acknowledgement for our mutual cooperation on the occasion of the completion of your duties as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
It was a pleasure to work with you on further developing the friendly relations existing between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kosovo as well as on strengthening the cooperation within the Western Balkans region. In this context, I would like to point out in particular the conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad Group and Western Balkans that was held in Prague in November 2015, including the signature of the Agreement on the Establishment of the Western Balkans Fund.
