Prishtina, 30 August –President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the US Senator, Ronald Johnson, whereby discussed on numerous topics concerning both countries.
President Thaçi extended his gratitude to the US Senator for the support provided by President Trump administration to Kosovo in its path towards integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
“US support is decisive in maintaining peace, stability and in ensuring Euro-Atlantic path for Kosovo and other countries in the region,” stated President Thaçi.
The President informed the US Senator on the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, KSF transformation process, and the challenges ahead of Kosovo’s new government with regards to the implementation of strategic priorities, adding that the establishment of new institutions shall take place as soon as possible.
On his part, the US Senator, Ronald Johnson, ensured President Thaçi that President Trump administration will continue its support to Kosovo in all fields and shall remain committed to peace and stability in Kosovo and the region.
